These Terms and Conditions apply to lesson packages purchased through YouSpeakItalian.
Payment must be made in full no later than two days before the first scheduled lesson.
All lessons are 50 minutes long.
Each lesson package has its own validity period, as stated on the relevant course page and at the time of purchase.
All sessions included in a package must take place within that validity period.
Packages are non-transferable.
Refunds are not offered for change of mind or for sessions that are not used within the package validity period.
All lesson packages include learning materials, selected resources and support.
For Italian for Two, each learner purchases their own package. Lessons can begin once payment has been received from both learners.
Lessons are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
When you purchase a package, your agreed lesson times will be reserved for the number of sessions included in that package.
For example, if you purchase a 10-session package, your agreed time slot will be reserved for those ten sessions. If you would like to continue with the same day and time afterwards, I recommend purchasing your next package early, as I cannot guarantee that the same time slot will remain available.
You can cancel or reschedule a lesson without charge if you give at least 24 hours’ notice.
You may reschedule as many times as you need, provided all sessions take place within the validity period of your package.
If you cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session will be counted as used.
The same applies if you do not attend a scheduled lesson.
As much advance notice as possible is always appreciated. Giving notice allows me to offer the time slot to another student and reorganise the preparation time set aside for your lesson.
If you are late, I will wait for up to 15 minutes.
After that, the lesson will be treated as a missed appointment and counted as used.
If you arrive within the first 15 minutes, the lesson can still go ahead but will finish at the originally scheduled time.
If I need to cancel a lesson, it will not be deducted from your package and we will arrange another time.
If my cancellation means that you cannot complete all your sessions within the validity period of your package, I will extend the validity period accordingly.
All sessions must be used within the validity period stated at the time of purchase.
Rescheduling a lesson does not extend the validity period of the package.
Any unused sessions remaining after the validity period has ended will expire.
